Kalamazoo Public Schools' 2006 graduates who take their full-tuition Kalamazoo Promise scholarships to Western Michigan University next fall will get free room and board for the next four years. Wayne State pledged to cut its dorm fee - currently $4,175 for an academic year - in half for KPS students who bring their Promise dollars there for 2006-07.
