Academic experts reflect on the role of Jewish studies on college campuses

David Weinberg, director of the Cohn-Haddow Center for Judaic Studies at Wayne State University in Detroit , says Judaic studies programs have the ability to build bridges. Cohn-Haddow was "envisioned as a means of reconnecting the student community with the Jewish community and vice-versa," said Weinberg, who believes these college programs have reached a plateau and may be on the decline.
