Corporate lawyers feel chill

Although new SEC rules requiring lawyers to report wrongdoing by clients have yet to be tested, the visions of corporate counsel turning into regulators policing their clients have not materialized - the relief of the bar, said Peter Henning professor at Wayne State University law school. "They yelled and screamed about federal regulation of lawyers, and it's not so."
