Learn how to get an advanced degree in a lucrative profession at Wayne State University’s Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Program Information Session, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 28 at the Welcome Center, corner of Warren and Woodward avenues. Program representatives will be available to discuss Wayne State’s world-class clinical opportunities, program curricula and straightforward application process.
"Now is the time to learn about an advanced degree in this highly sought-after field,” says Dr. Alex Johnson, chair, Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology. “Advisors will be on hand to provide an inside look at our strong clinical programs that lead to outstanding careers in health care, the sciences and more.”
Johnson encourages students to attend for answers to their specific program questions. The application deadline for the Winter 2006 is January 1. “It’s the perfect opportunity for current students or graduates looking to take the next step to a great career,” explains Johnson. “This field continues to grow and our state-of-the-art laboratories provide the hands-on experience that allows our graduates to enter the workforce comprehensively educated and prepared for the challenges of their new career.”
