Wayne State University's School of Business Administration launches new Career Planning and Placement Office

The Wayne State University School of Business Administration (SBA) has opened a new Career Planning and Placement Office, which has developed a website to bring current students and alumni together with employers who have positions to fill.

The office serves undergraduate and graduate business students as well as SBA alumni.

“We have developed a customized website that permits employers to post jobs at no charge,” explains Brenda Paine, director of the new office. “More than 300 students have registered since the site was activated. It is flexible – allowing students to view jobs and to contact employers, and enabling employers to search resumes and to reach students directly.”

Employer registration takes about 15 minutes. The directions to register and post jobs are easy to follow: Log on to www.waynebizcareers.com and click on “employers” to create a user name and password and to enter company information.
