Wayne State University, which has partnered with St. Clair County Community College (SC4) to bring Wayne State bachelor\'s degree courses to area residents, will hold three information and advising sessions for its bachelor\'s degree in social work. The sessions, which will be held at Wayne State\'s new office in SC4\'s MTEC Building, will be on Monday, June 20, 2005, Monday, July 18, and Monday, August 22, 2005. Each session will run from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
"Students and working adults interested in getting their bachelor\'s degree in social work have a wonderful opportunity to hear first-hand from advisers from the School of Social Work," said Robert Walsh, director, Macomb and St. Clair Counties metropolitan programs. "Importantly, Wayne State\'s registration period is now open so area residents can reserve their spot in one of the classes held right here at SC4."
Beginning with the fall 2005 semester, Wayne State will offer courses leading to bachelor\'s degrees in Engineering Technology and Interdisciplinary Studies in addition to Social Work courses.
