Free health screenings, exercise sessions, entertainment and lunch will be part of a June 7 program aimed at promoting better health among older African-Americans in Detroit Erma Henderson Park. The Healthier Black Elders Center at the Wayne State University Institute of Gerontology is hosting the event, which is open to the public.
