Announcing the 2005 Dean of Students Office Leadership Award Winners
The first annual Dean of Students Office Leadership Awards banquet was held on April 11 in St. Andrews Hall, in Detroit. Nineteen outstanding students, advisors and organizations were honored in the following categories:
- Diversity Program Award - Lambda Theta Alpha Sorority, Inc.
- City of Detroit Service Award - Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
- Outstanding Student Organization Award - Theta Alpha Sorority, Inc.
- Outstanding Student Organization Advisor Award - Dr. Gerald Thompkins
- Emerging Leader Award - Joan Barrett, Ashley Berry, Clarence Dass, Courtney Moore, and Maria Ramos
- Outstanding Graduate/Professional Student Award - Brendan Burns, Myrtle Ann George, Kristen M. Kennedy, Rahul Ranjan, and Behnoosh Zadegan
- Campus Life Legacy Award - Sharon Bobryk, Earl Carruthers, Minhchau Ha, Danielle Jenkins, and Rosana Khalil
The 2005 Campus Life Leadership Awards recognize the year-long achievements of students, faculty, staff and student organizations that positively impact student life and growth at Wayne State University and the Detroit community.
