Columnist Betty DeRamus mentions that "Project Safe Neighborhoods" is sponsoring an ongoing parent-university program that helps Metro Detroit parents raise children and hold their families together. Free two-hour sessions are held at 6:30 p.m. at Wayne State University's Northwest campus, 7800 W. Outer Drive.
