John Edwards, former U.S. senator and vice presidential running mate for John Kerry in 2004, will deliver the commencement address for Wayne State University's Law School. The commencement will be held May 16 at the Detroit Opera House. Edwards, now director of the Center on Poverty, Work and Opportunity at the University of North Carolina, will talk about inspiring people to fight poverty and move more people into the middle class.
