U-M grad students to walk out on jobs

University of Michigan graduate student instructors, who teach about 22 percent of undergraduate classes, are planning to walk off the job today because of a contract dispute. Issues include wages, health care options, and benefits for same-sex partners. A U-M spokesperson said the university is making every effort to ensure all classes are covered during the walkout.
