Catherine Mann, former senior economist for the President\'s Council of Economic Advisers, to discuss outsourcing

Catherine L. Mann, senior fellow at the Institute for International Economics, will host a discussion titled "Outsourcing: Good or Bad," at noon, Friday, April 1, at Wayne State University's Bernath Auditorium in the David Adamany Undergraduate Library. Mann previously served as a senior economist on the President's Council of Economic Advisers at the White House and an adviser to the chief economist at the World Bank. She also was the assistant director of the International Finance Division at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors. She earned a bachelor's degree from Harvard University and PhD in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Parking is $3.50 and will be available in structures 2 and 5.
