Wayne State sophomore goaltender Will Hooper has been selected College Hockey America Defensive Player of the Week for his performance last Saturday at league-leading Alabama-Huntsville. Hooper made a career-high 50 saves in Saturday\'s 3-3 (OT) tie in Huntsville. Wayne State continues its road trip with a two-game CHA series at Niagara University this Friday and Saturday.
