Van Andel Institute seeks to create life sciences industry

Biotech businesses in Michigan holds the key to future economic growth for the state, and high paying jobs that pay $16,000 more than the average wage. The Van Andel Institute in Grand Rapids is one of four bases for the Michigan Life Sciences corridor that include Wayne State University, the U of M and Michigan State.
