Evola Music hosts Michigan's largest piano sale at Wayne State University's Oakland Center

Evola Music and Wayne State University's Department of Music are hosting a special piano sale, one of the largest sales of its kind in Michigan, on Sunday, Oct. 17. The sale will take place at Wayne State's Oakland Center campus at 33737 West 12 Mile Rd., in Farmington Hills. Preview appointments are available prior to the public sale by calling (248) 489-5963.

During the past academic year, the Department of Music has been using new pianos through a loan arrangement with the Kawai Piano Company. This special sale will include grand, vertical and digital pianos. In addition, the sale also will offer a limited number of new and used pianos from Yamaha, Steinway, Baldwin and more.

"The Kawai piano sale has been a Music Department tradition for the past 12 years," noted department chair Dennis J. Tini. "These fine instruments positively enhance the level of our performance intensity, classroom instruction and student practice."

For the best selection, preview appointments are available and recommended Thursday, Oct. 14 through Saturday, Oct. 16. The sale is open to the public on Sunday, Oct. 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information or to schedule a preview appointment, call (248) 489-5963.
