The Lions' Hearing Center of Southeastern Michigan, a cooperative venture between Lions clubs, the Detroit Medical Center and Wayne State University, received more than $54,000 in pledges last month. The center operates clinics in metropolitan Detroit, and provides education and social services to hearing-impaired people and conducts research into cures and prevention of hearing disorders.
