Wayne State beautifies its campus

A new beautification and recycling initiative on the Wayne State campus, part of a three-year experimental program, is providing high-traffic areas with attractive container collection units at no cost to the university. Launched this fall, the program involves placement of \"PartnerBins\" in high-traffic areas on campus. Costs associated with the project are covered by advertisers who will purchase space on the front and back of each unit. "We are excited about this opportunity suggested to us by OutdoorPartner Media," says Nabelah Ghareeb, assistant vice president for business operations and auxiliary services. \"It is a means for helping to keep the campus attractive while also encouraging recycling.\" The story includes a photo of a PartnerBin on Gullen Mall.
