DMC raises outlook

Thanks to better than expected volume and success keeping expenses down, The Detroit Medical Center continues to improve its year-end outlook, the academic medical center\'s CFO Chris Palazzolo said. At the end of August, the system forecast a $7.5 million net loss for 2004, an improvement from the $22 million loss it forecast at the end of July and the $52 million loss it forecast at the beginning of the year.
