U-M dorm upgrades will cost $250 million

Housing officials at University of Michigan unveiled a 10-year, $250 million to $280 million student housing plan that will upgrade at least five residence halls. The new dorm will house 500-650 students in apartment style suites with private bathrooms. A location is yet to be determined, but it will be paid for through bonds, fee increases and money from the university\'s housing budget.
