One Minute Interview

Ralph Kummler, dean of the College of Engineering, is profiled in this Q&A format article that mentions his research on environmental issues and includes his observations on a variety of state, national and environmental issues. He said one of the biggest challenges facing the college is maintaining preeminence in high technology. He reviewed many of the college's strengths and pointed out that it has "an important role to play in continuing the preeminence of Detroit as the motor capital of the world."
