Strapped area schools outsource more jobs

Michael Addonizio, associate professor at Wayne State University's College of Education, commented on the move to privatize services once provided by employees at Michigan's public schools. Food, custodial and transportation services, formerly performed by district employees, are examples of jobs being handed over to private companies to save on payroll costs.
