Kim Spaulding is one of four members of the Wayne State University women's hockey team honored by the American Women's Hockey Coaches Association as National Scholar Athletes for outstanding academic achievement. Spaulding, an elementary education major, earned a place on the Athletic Director's Honor Roll six consecutive semesters, and she was recently named WSU Female Student-Athlete of the Year.
