Wayne State University Law School's alumni association will host its annual Treasure of Detroit Gala on Saturday, March 27, starting at 6:30 p.m. at the Detroit Athletic Club. The black-tie-optional ball is the premier social event for the Law Alumni Association.
Members of the Law School's Board of Visitors will be honored at the gala. Included in the honoree list are U.S. District Judge Nancy G. Edmunds, attorneys Candyce Ewing Abbatt, Earle I. Erman, Kathryn J. Humphrey, Thomas G. Kienbaum, I. W. Winsten, Kevin I. Green and William A. Sankbeil.
Maurice S. Binkow, a non-alumni member of the board of visitors, will be hailed as an honorary alumnus.
The event will feature a cocktail reception, silent auction, dinner, dancing and entertainment with Albert Dib, Law Alumni president, as Master of Ceremonies.
