Wayne State University students and other Starbucks Coffee aficionados in the campus area now have a convenient location on campus to grab a cup of the popular chain's famous product. A 1,500 square foot Starbucks shop has opened on the main floor of WSU's North Residence Hall, located about a block north of Warren Avenue on Anthony Wayne Drive.

Operated by AVI FOODSYSTEMS, the university's primary on-campus food caterer, the Starbucks location offers a complete selection of its famous beverages as well as fresh pastries and juices.

Grand opening week, featuring random give-aways, will begin Monday, Feb. 9. The university's newest beverage and snack shop is open to the public. Hours are 7:30 a.m.-9 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
