Detroit, MI-May 5, 2003-Wayne State University Faculty and Staff are invited to attend and participate in the largest worksite health and fitness observance in the United States.
All faculty and staff just need to show your OneCard to have FREE access to the Recreation and Fitness Center on Wednesday, May 21, at any time during the day-you need not be a member.
The RFC will sponsor a 1-mile fun walk around campus from noon until 2 p.m. All participants will receive a RFC fitness fun pack and water bottle for participating. Enjoy great information, giveaways and activities. Stop by and enjoy our FREE Tai Chi class outside at 1 p.m. and other great fitness activities.
Our hours are 6 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday through Friday during the spring/summer semester. Be sure to visit the various Wellness Center services booths we will have and take advantage of our services, which include information on blood pressure, nutrition and weight management information, body composition, and tips to enhance your exercise program.
