"Business development in the urban community," a forum on challenges faced by Detroit business owners in a changing economy, will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, in Alumni House, 441 Ferry Mall, on the Wayne State University campus.
Sponsored by the WSU Organization of Black Alumni and the Black Graduate Business Students Association, the forum also will cover how to bring more business to the city. Guest speakers include Dave Bing, president, The Bing Group; Cynthia Richardson, owner of Blue Sky Specialty & Graphics Co.; Desma Reid-Coleman, owner of four Detroit businesses; George N'Namdi, owner, George N'Namdi Galleries; and Teko Edwards, owner, Sporty Cutz Barber Shop.
