The college, which became the WSU department of mortuary science in 1944, will host some 300 students, faculty and staff at its graduation ceremony and reception, 4 p.m. this Sunday, at the Omni Detroit Hotel.

Dr. Pool, who was director of the mortuary science program from 1939 until 1982, will present the Walter D. Pool Faculty-Student Achievement Award.
