DETROIT - May 9, 2002 - A second-year research fellow and resident of the Wayne State University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences will be honored at an upcoming professional meeting.
Shahid Hussain, M.D., of Southfield, was selected by the American Psychiatric Institute for Research and Education (APIRE) to attend an honorary breakfast for young psychiatric investigators May 21 at the 155th annual American Psychiatry Association (APA) meeting, May 18-23 in Philadelphia.
Distinguished senior psychiatric researchers, current directors of national institutes as well as other young researchers as scheduled to attend the breakfast and will be available to discuss the process of developing a career in psychiatric research.
