Dr. Craig Svensson, a resident of Southfield, associate chair of pharmaceutical sciences at Wayne State University, has accepted an invitation to serve on the Pharmacology Study Section of the Center for Scientific Review, National Institutes of Health (NIH), for a two-year term beginning in July.
Study sections review grant applications submitted to the NIH for scientific research projects and make recommendations about the value of the research projects to the appropriate NIH national advisory council. The Study Sections also survey the status of research in their fields of science.
