In light of today's national tragedy, President Irvin D. Reid has announced Wayne State University is canceling classes and closing the university after 4:00 p.m. today, Tuesday, September 11, 2001. The university will be closed and classes are canceled for tomorrow, Wednesday, September 12. Wayne State University will be open and classes will resume Thursday, September 13. Essential personnel should report as scheduled.
