A degree option designed for students with full-time jobs or family responsibilities is being offered by Wayne State University's School of Social Work at the university's Wayne County Extension Center in Detroit.
The Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) Part-Time Program allows participants to complete the Bachelor of Social Work Professional Program in three years at an extension center that may be closer to where they live or work. The Wayne County Extension Center is located at 7800 W. Outer Drive, Detroit.
Representatives from the School of Social Work will be at the new Wayne County Extension Center to discuss program options. Attendance at an informational meeting prior to application is strongly encouraged, as is early application. The program is open to a limited number of students.

Wayne State's Bachelor of Social Work program has been ranked No.1 in the country by the Gourman Report among all accredited BSW programs for four consecutive years. The program is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, the national accrediting body for professional social work education.
