A roast in honor of Phyllis Vroom, interim dean of the WSU School of Social Work, is slated for 6 p.m. Friday, April 28, at the Fairlane Club, 5000 Fairlane Woods Drive, Dearborn.
Tickets are $45 a person and include dinner, music and the roast. A cash bar will be available. Reservations are needed by April 18.
The event is sponsored by the WSU School of Social Work Alumni Association. Checks payable to the WSUSSWAA can be sent to the School of Social Work, Thompson Home, 4756 Cass Ave., Detroit, Mich., 48202.
