A second graduate art exhibition, "MFA Thesis Exhibition II," is on display through Friday, April 7, in the Community Arts Gallery at Wayne State University.
The exhibition embodies the works of master of fine arts candidates in the department of art and art History.
It includes artists John Harkins, Harlan Lovestone, Loretta Markell, Frank Rouleau and Marsha Wright presenting their paintings, sculpture, digital photography and video art.
The artists plan a public lecture to discuss their art at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 22, in the gallery. The event is free and open to the public.
Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday.
