The Bohemian Chamber Philharmonic presents a special performance at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, in the Community Arts Auditorium at Wayne State University.
The program includes works by Mendelssohn and Dvorak and Dreamscape, a composition by music Professor James Lentini. Guest conductor for the concert is Professor Kypros Markou, WSU director of orchestra.
The program also has Dorian Ho, piano soloist, performing Schumann's Concerto in A Minor.
Considered the premiere mid-sized orchestra of the Czech Republic, the chamber already has more than 300 tours abroad since its founding in 1969.
Its appearance at Wayne State is part of a seven-week American debut tour under the direction of Czech conductor Tomas Koutnik.
Tickets for the concert are $15. They maybe purchased in advance or at the door.
