Neel B. Shah of Farmington Hills receives honor from Wayne State during commencement ceremonies

Graduating Wayne State University senior Neel B. Shah (left) of Farmington Hills received the university's prestigious David D. Henry Award during winter commencement ceremonies held at Cobo Arena in December. The award goes to one male and one female student who have demonstrated outstanding scholastic achievement, leadership and service during their years at WSU. Chatting with Shah on commencement night is John Peterson, dean of the College of Science. Shah earned a bachelor's degree in psychology honors and university honors, magna cum laude, and plans to attend the WSU School of Medicine in the fall.
