The AAUP-AFT has called for a one-day strike for Thursday, Sept. 16, 1999. All faculty and staff are expected to report for work and carry out their duties on that day. The university will remain open, and it is expected that all classes and laboratories will meet with instruction provided in the normal fashion. All offices will be open.

To avoid any further inconvenience to our students, the registration deadline will be extended from Monday, 9/20/99, to Wednesday, 9/22/99.
