The department of Africana studies will present a jazz concert at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26, at Wayne State University's Community Arts Auditorium in celebration of Black History Month.
The concert, which is free and open to the public, will feature performances by Randy Scott and Bob St. Thomas. At 6 p.m. reception with cash bar will precede the show.
Scott has been recognized by peers as an accomplished musician, composer, producer, singer, saxophonist, keyboardist and teacher. St. Thomas is a noted vocalist and music educator.
