Tickets are available for a free lecture featuring Patricia Ireland, president of the National Organization for Women.
Ireland will discuss "What Women Want" at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 4, in the Community Arts Auditorium at Wayne State University. A reception will follow in the Community Arts Gallery. Copies of Ireland's book What Women Want will be available for purchase and signing.
Ireland will report on the November 1998 election, abortion rights and the future status of women. She has served as president of NOW since December 1991.
