Nationally known ethics professor Richard C. Sparks presents "Morality in the Next Generation: Amoral, Immoral or Differently Moral?" at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, in Hilberry A in the Student Center Building at Wayne State University.
He is a lively and engaging speaker, who talks about his views on a variety of moral and ethical issues. Sparks, whose specialty is medical ethics, served on several national and regional task forces dealing with sensitive ethical issues. He taught at the University of Minnesota Medical School and St. Paul Seminary.
Sparks lectures on "Bioethics for the Next Millennium" Thursday evening at the University of Detroit Mercy. He also lectures on "Bioethics and the Handicapped Newborn" Friday, Jan. 22, at the WSU School of Medicine.
