WSU Workshop on human diversity will be Jan. 21

A workshop, "Discovering Human Diversity," is scheduled from 2:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 21, in room 3700 of the Academic/Administrative Building at Wayne State University.

The workshop is designed to teach respect and value for individual differences. Key points will cover:

  • Learning to assess the perceptions, values and behaviors in work groups and individual work settings;
  • Enhancing skills and awareness for working in an inclusive work environment; and
  • Measuring differences in the work environment brought by individual perceptions and views.

Marjorie L. Keys, director of the WSU Office of Equal Opportunity, will present the workshop, which is co-sponsored with the office and WSU Human Resources' Training and Development.
