A memorial tribute celebration of the life of Coleman Young is planned for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, in the Wayne State University McGregor Memorial Conference Center.

The event is free and open to the public. A complimentary reception will follow.

President Irvin D. Reid will greet participants. Guest speakers include William Beckham, Malcolm Dade, Fred Martin, Adam Shakoor and Charlie Williams, as well as Alma Young, who holds the Coleman Young Chair in the WSU College of Urban, Labor and Metropolitan Affairs.
