An 11 a.m. news conference will precede a Detroit Economic Club luncheon address by Wayne State University President Irvin D. Reid on Monday, Oct. 19, at Cobo Hall.

The news conference will be held in Room W-1-53 near the Riverfront Ballroom site of the luncheon on the first floor of Cobo Hall.

President Reid's talk, "Building for the Future - A New Era of Greatness for Wayne State University," will focus on WSU's role in economic development of the city and the region, WSU's response to changing conditions, and the university's plans for future development.
