A book fair featuring discounted copies of New York Times bestsellers, children's books, fiction and non-fiction works, reference materials, educational books, cookbooks and how-to manuals will be held from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. April 6-8 in Hilberry B of the Student Center Building.
Previews of the books that will be available at the fair will be held March 26 and April 3 on the first floor of the Student Center Building. All books are new and most are hard covers. Discounts range from 30 to 70 percent off publisher's list prices.
The fair is sponsored by the Wayne State University Higher Education Opportunities Committee Talent Search Program, a nonprofit program that helps first-generation, low-income students in grades six through twelve in select Detroit Public Schools pursue a post-secondary education.
