Responsibility will be theme of WSU conference on Holocaust, Armenian Genocide

"Bearing Responsibility: External Options, Internal Choices" will be the focus of Wayne State University's fifth annual Conference on the Holocaust and Armenian Genocide Wednesday, April 8, in the McGregor Memorial Conference Center at WSU.

Topics include the role of media in hiding and highlighting the situation; youth activism; a panel discussion; and the Judith Montell film "You Are History...You Are Legend."

Keynote speaker Morton Winston is past chairman of the Amnesty International-USA Board of Directors and a professor of philosophy at the College of New Jersey. His areas of specialization include human rights theory, applied ethics, cognitive science, philosophy of technology and teaching philosophy. Currently he is writing a book about human rights.
