The English Language Institute will offer a nine-week Citizens Preparatory Program from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday Feb. 16 through April17 in cooperation with the Jewish Family Services.

The course is available to all lawful permanent residents in the metropolitan Detroit area and will be held on Wayne State's main campus.

Students will cover the aspects of U.S. history and civics that are necessary to pass both the oral and written citizenship examinations.

Course fee is $50 and includes books, materials and transportation to the Jewish Family Service, 24123 Greenfield, if needed.
