Registrations are being accepted through Thursday, Aug. 28, for Fall 1997 courses in Wayne State University's bachelor of science degree programs in engineering technology. Classes are held at Delta Community College in Saginaw, Mott Community College in Flint and WSU's Oakland Extension Center in Farmington Hills.
The program includes upper-division (junior- and senior-level) courses leading to a bachelor of science degree specializing in various types of engineering technology (ET), including electrical/electronic; electromechanical; manufacturing/industrial; mechanical; and product design.
The ET program stresses the application of current technology to typical industrial problems. Students entering the program must have a background equivalent to an associate degree in engineering technology or a related discipline. The program complements community college education by maintaining a close relationship between theoretical principles and their applications.
Representatives from the engineering technology program and Wayne State's College of Lifelong Learning will be in the Delta and Mott community college areas in October. For more information call Mulchand Rathod or Patricia Kosmyna at (313) 577-0800 or write to them at the Division of Engineering Technology, Wayne State University, Detroit MI 48202.
