Wayne State University and the Michigan Biotechnology Association will host a Biomedical-Biotechnology Expo from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 14, at WSU's Alumni House, 441 Ferry Mall.
WSU researchers will give poster presentations and describe their studies related to biotechnology or medicine. The goal of this informal event is to identify opportunities for collaboration, licensing or research sponsorship at the university.
The Michigan Biotechnology Association was founded in 1993. Its primary mission is to promote and support the biotechnology industry in Michigan. The association also serves as an information clearinghouse for members, service providers, associates and strategic partners.
For more information on the expo call Robert Wright at (313) 577-5541. He also can be reached by fax at (313) 577-3626 or by e-mail at
