David Adamany, president of Wayne State University, will be the keynote speaker for the 16th annual awards convocation of the Michigan Association of Governing Boards of State Universities beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 8, in Michigan State University's Kellogg Center.
The association comprises the governing boards of Michigan's 15 public universities.
Two distinguished faculty members from WSU and two outstanding students will be among honored guests.
The faculty members are Christopher Johnson, professor of history and Hilary Ratner, professor of psychology. The student awardees are Maureen Murphy of Lathrup Village and Christopher Apap of Wixom.
