The 15th annual Colloquium Poetry Series at Wayne State University, the longest-running literary series in Michigan, continues with performances at 1 p.m. on Wednesdays through April 16 in room 3234 of the English department, 51 W. Warren Ave.
The Writers' Voice at the Downtown YMCA sponsors the series and presents some of the nation's best writers along with local favorites.

Reading March 5 are Woodstock prose poet Valerie Tekavec, San Francisco poet Joyce Jenkins and Melba Joyce Boyd, Africana studies department chairwoman.
After a one-week break for the spring recess, the March 19 performance will feature New York poet Paul Violi, WSU playwright William Harris and Detroiter Ron Allen.
West Michigan poets Linda Nemec Foster and John Rybicki will read March 26.
Scheduled April 2 are St. Louis poet Steven Schreiner; John R. Reed, distinguished professor of English; and Yates Hafner, retired professor of English. He will read poetry of the late Stephen Tudor.
Juanita Torrence-Thompson of New York City, Edward Morin of Ann Arbor and Judith Kerman of Saginaw will appear April 9.
Simon Brittan of England and Detroit fiction writer Paul Sporn will close the series April 16.
The series includes a special event the Student Poetry Festival at 1 p.m. Monday, April 14.
