Graduating seniors once again will get a chance to meet prospective employers at the 19th Michigan Collegiate Job Fair (MCJF) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, April 4, at Burton Manor, 27777 Schoolcraft Road in Livonia.
More than 150 employers are expected to attend the fair, co-sponsored by Wayne State and Eastern Michigan Universities and promoted by more than 70 other four-year and two-year institutions. ESD, The Engineering Society, is a supporting sponsor for the MCJF.
The fair is an opportunity for students to meet face-to-face with employers looking to fill primarily entry-level positions. Graduates also can practice their interviewing skills and obtain information about employment opportunities.
To register for the fair in advance, students can send a resume and a check for $10 to MCJF at University Counseling and Placement Services, 1001 Faculty Administration Building, Wayne State University, Detroit MI 48202-3622. Fair brochures are available at college or university placements offices or by writing to MCJF.
Advance registration must be received by Friday, March 28. On-site registration is $20; parking is free.
